The Warriors played at Nebraska City. The game ended up with a final score of 2-0, with the Warriors coming out on top. The Warriors came out and scored in around 10 minutes. Grant Stowell managed to retake possession of the ball, and dribble past the last Pioneer defender. This goal put the Warriors up 1-0. Still in the 1st half, the Warriors scored their second goal, with Grant crossing the ball to Micah Pratcheil who shot and scored.
Nearing the end of the half, Komily’s shoe finally fell apart forcing him to sit the half. The defense held up fine without him, however, and still had a shutout half. Komily was good to play in the next half wearing an extra pair of cleats. The Warriors then proceeded to have their second shutout half of the night.
When all was said and done, the Pioneers ended up receiving 5 yellow cards to the Warriors having received 0. This caused quite the abuse to come from the stands, coaches, and players of the Pioneers. This didn’t benefit them whatsoever, and was, instead, to their detriment. The officials were even less inclined to give Nebraska City the benefit of the doubt as constant complaints about minor actions never helps. This just shows that constant abuse isn’t a good idea.
